Terms of Service

Booking and Payment: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total order amount is required to secure the custom cake order. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days prior to the fulfillment date.

The full amount is due at booking for orders placed less than 30 days from the fulfillment date.

Payments can be made via Cash, Square (credit or debit card) or Venmo.

Modifications and Cancellations: Any changes to the cake order including flavor, size, design, etc must be made at least 14 days prior to the event date. Cancellations made after 10 days will result in the forfeiture of the remaining deposit.

Refunds: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total order amount is required at booking.

Partial refunds are considered on a case by case basis and may be issued via store credit. Photographic evidence is required for any dispute and the return of unconsumed goods. Store credit may be considered if the product is brought back and the quality of the cake flavor or texture is determined to not meet our standards. Cakes must be brought back within 24 hours of pick up or delivery. Store credit percentages are based on how quickly the cake is returned, how much has been consumed, and what we determine the quality to be.

Refunds will not be issued for cakes that have been completely consumed. We will not honor requests for refunds due to customer negligence, improper storage and handling, accidents or Acts of God.

Cake Design: The client agrees to provide detailed specifications for the cake design including inspiration photos, flavors, fillings, and any decorations. Specific cake designs by other artists may be used as inspiration but will not be replicated in their entirety.

The designer will provide a design proposal and will make every effort to produce the agreed-upon design, but minor variations may occur due to the handmade nature of the cake.

Delivery and Setup: Should the client choose delivery, the designer will deliver and set up the cake at the designated venue on the agreed-upon date and time. The client is responsible for ensuring that the venue is accessible and ready for cake setup and that the client or their representative, e.g. event coordinator, venue manager, etc. will be available to allow the designer access to the venue.

Liability: The designer is not liable for any damages to the cake after collection/ delivery, including but not limited to accidents, mishandling, or exposure to extreme temperatures. Blush Bake Shop bears no responsibility once the order has been accepted by the customer.

Photography: The designer reserves the right to photograph the cake for promotional purposes, unless otherwise specified by the client.

Force Majeure: The designer shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, accidents in transit, acts of God, or governmental actions.

Governing Law: This contract shall be governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, and any disputes arising out of or relating to this contract shall be resolved through arbitration.

By signing the service agreement and/or paying the invoice the client acknowledges that they have read and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this contract.
